Box Critters BETA Update
It’s been a while since there has been some news about the reopening for Box Critters. Initially it was mentioned that Box Critters would reopen for Beta sometime this year. We have had news from the Box Critters Twitter that says the following:
Update on the BETA. Thank you for your continued patience, I doubt the beta will be ready this year. I will post more information in the fall.

Box Critters Alpha Test Complete
The Box Critters website has now updated and has announced that the Alpha Test is complete. Additionally the ability to login to the game is no longer available. This is what shows on the website:

on the way!Thank you, Box Critters Community, for making Box Critters a fun, silly, and zany place to hang out! The Box Critters Alpha Test is now complete, and we have learned a lot. We are busy working on the Beta and expect to launch sometime in 2023.Please follow our offical Twitter or Facebook pages for the latest news and information

An additional note for players that played through the Alpha:
Note to Alpha Testers
All your Critters and Items have been saved. Once we begin the Beta you will have the option to load all your items and progress.
To the critters that played through Alpha, it’s an end of a chapter for us with the ability to login to the game for the Alpha test period and now we wait for the Beta to launch which has now been announced to launch ‘sometime in 2023’. The good news though is that we will have the option to load all our items and progress, so we can continue with what has been gained through the Alpha phase.
I will continue to post any updates that occur through the Twitter or Facebook pages.

Box Critters Quick Update
The Box Critters team are working to get things prepared and ready for the upcoming beta for Box Critters. On the 6th September 2022, the Box Critters Twitter account provided an update about what is the latest development of the game. Take a look what has been said:
It is great to hear some news about what is occurring with the game progression and it is good to know that they are still actively looking for a partner to help grow the game and to go onto the next stage of Beta!

This looks like part of what could be the new port area? – nice to see some newly created features.
A new area, a pathway to a new area!? – very exciting!
A hippo critter! I’d like to meet this critter!

Is it just me? I really want to go into that chasm area, I can’t wait!

Box Critters Path to New Room Sneak Peek
Box Critters Twitter account has released a sneak peek of a new pathway leading to a new room. Take a look:
Additionally the existing room looks like the right hand side of the Port but redesigned, you can see a new clothing sign and the room looks remade.

The team have been working on new rooms, here is a sketch of what looks like to be a kitchen with a sink or till.
