Box Critters News | Uncle Sam Hat Removed & Bots
RocketSnail has announced that the Uncle Sam Hat is being removed. This is what he said on the Official Box Critters discord:
UPDATE: Regretfully we decided to remove the Uncle Sam hat from Box Critters. We decided that it is best not to have items that celebrate specific national holidays. Our goal is to focus on Box Critter and global events. Thank you. (We may reconsider this decision in the future)

UPDATE: When a bot is detected their nickname will be changed to “BOT”. In the future I plan to disconnect bots when they are detected.
This continues my work to build a reporting system. Reporting will include the ability to report “groups” of bots.

First of all, thank you for informing us all and your helpful website, Loki Terry.
I am tired of seeing cultures give in and caving to politically correctness that has gotten out of hand in the world for the past how many years now. It is like freedom of speech being censored, not wise at all.
When people don’t stand for something, they will fall for anything.
People who live in America should be proud of being an American. The rest of the world should feel the same pride about their countries. Shaming people is like bullying people. Stand up for freedom and what is right. Always.
For example, will the mummy costume be removed for offending Egyptians? When will it end? It won’t. You give people an inch, they take a mile. You can take anything and find something someone could be offended by it. Next, Christmas will be removed for offending people. Differences in cultures is what makes this world the place it USED TO BE.
This is why political correctness has hurt the world and comedians. Laughter is the best medicine. Remove laughter and you have robots. Sad, depressed robots. I am seriously considering not playing Box Critters any longer and telling every single friend of mine that I have on other social games and I have a LOT of friends because I am VERY social and everyone tells me I am very funny as I actually enjoy making people laugh and be happy.
Clearly they don’t believe in freedom if they do this. This may seem little, but it is the beginning of too far.
