Box Critters Critter Climb v1.0.1 Released

Tim from Box Critters has given an update on The Critter Circle informing us that a new version of the game has updated (which is accessible here – https://boxcritters.com/games/critterclimb/v2/

This is what Tim had to say:

“Hi there! Critter Climb version 1.0.1 has been released. You can test it out here – https://boxcritters.com/games/critterclimb/v2/ (shhh ignore the “v2”!)

Changes made in this version:

    - Better memory management with WebGL Textures (this caused lag and occasionally some freezing/crashes on a few devices)
    - Fixed FPS going above 60 for monitors with a higher refresh rate (this would make animations buggy and the stamina bar would deplete too quickly)
    - Title Screen music should be fixed. No more overlapping after finishing a game.
    - Fixed a bug where the pole speed might be very fast after starting a new game.
    - Fixed font/text alignment problems on iOS devices.
    - Fixed space bar 'QUANTUM MODE'. Holding down the space bar would make the critter switch sides repeatedly very fast.
    - 'Tutorial Hand' doesn't show anymore if the canvas has already been tapped/clicked in the new game.
    - Increased fruit probability in earlier levels.
    - Shortened pole length in earlier levels. They were too looooooooong.
    - Traps are now more distanced from each other in earlier levels.

“This version should prevent lag on more devices and iron out some bugs.

f you encounter any bugs, please post them in The Critter Circle for the team to look at. We’re trying to get this as stable and polished on as many devices as we can!

Thanks for helping us test Critter Climb! :)”

Have fun playing critters!
