Box Critters New Interface Preview

Box Critters has released a preview of an interface and different systems that the team are working on for the future development of Box Critters. Take a look at the sketch preview:

As noted, this is a preview it indicates the following:

• Critter Tasks – I wonder if these will be daily tasks in order to get coins? – this has a similar feel to Club Penguin Island and Tinkatolli, two previous virtual worlds.
• Friends List – a way of viewing who is your friend
• Invites – I presume this will be invites for becoming your friend, or perhaps other invites?!
• Chat log – the ability to see what has been said in the room you are in
• Settings – the ability to change different in-game settings, e.g. audio perhaps?
• Sign Out – signing out of the game

As well it seems the shop icon will move to the top right of the user interface.

We also have at the bottom of the user interface:

• Emoji – I presume this is to select which emoji to action
• Wave? – is this a dance move?!
• Throwing a water balloon!
• Clothing / house?
• A map!
• Interface to chat and send a message.

As mentioned in the tweet, starting in the new year there will be less events whilst the team can focus on these different functionalities and systems! – I’m very excited for this, are you?
