Box Critters has updated the shop, a fresh new week meaning a fresh new item of the week has been released. This week it’s the Green Rectangle Sunglasses. To get to the shop, walk over to the shop at The Port.

Box Critters has released some new items in the shop as well. They are:

• Orange Ballcap – 40 coins
• Green Goggles – 20 coins
• Pink Plaid – 400 coins

As you can see there is a timer, you can switch from side to side as you climb the pole. This looks amazing, don’t you think? I can’t wait for it to be released.

The Box Critters team had a meeting today and Jen tweeted a picture of the team. It’s just more than there lovely faces, they also included some interesting stuff that they’ve been working on. Take a look:

Let’s start with: 

PapaD – RocketSnail has mentioned PapaD is working on a Halloween clothing in his live streams. In the background there’s a ghost, a mummy, a witch and some baskets for candy. Lance mentioned that there might be some sort of trick or treating element in the game for Halloween, that would be amazing! If not we still have some awesome looking baskets.

Mrchilly has the hazmat suit which he recently revealed, check it out by clicking here. I love it and it’s good to see that this item will be coming. I hope that it will be soon, in time for Halloween? I hope so.

The Twins – the background is the Port although it’s looking very different from what we see now, perhaps it’s for an event.. maybe the Mini September event RocketSnail mentioned? – the Dock seems open as well, could this mean the Dock is being worked on for the mini event? If not it could be for Halloween with the dark / spooky looking sky. There is no Card Game combat placement instead it shows Ahoy sign with a sword. I’m very excited to see what this may be.

• Bringing back event items, some items will not return. 
• Pets and mascots aimed for beta. 
• ETA – Critter Ball, heavily delayed. 
• ETA – Critter Climb – almost ready.
• No paid membership – there will be things to buy.
• Profiles that will show when critters were created (potential toggle to turn on and off).
• Phaser game being made for Box Critters – unannounced game being done in Phaser.
• Team are working on the Volcano at the moment – a video of the Volcano is coming up soon.
• Achievements in Critter Climb? – Win the leaderboard, you will win an item – if you lose the leaderboard, you’ll lose the item? – potential idea. 
• We will get ship that can move around – the igloo concept from Club Penguin.
• Club Penguin birthday hat will return each year, just for that day so it’s hard to get – but there will be another surprise that day this year.
